President Ken Gardiner welcomed everyone to the third Club Assembly of the year......last one will be the Year-end Changeover in late June!

President Ken awarded Jim Povec, our newest member, will his Blue Badge.
 
Mr. Henry D. (Hank) Lunn was presented a Paul Harris Fellow award, as he was nominated by Rodney Lynch.  Mr. Lunn was Rodney's high school history teacher, and is someone who has spoken to our Club in the past. He has been very active in the community over many years, and shared several stories of his life in Maine, including one of his childhood, where German war prisoners worked on the family farm when he just 13.
 
Various Committee Reports followed, including the Satellite Club's announcement that their next meeting was Thursday night, starting at 5:15pm via Zoom.  They are also working on a number of plans for projects and fundraisers.
 
President Ken announced the need for West Bay members to step up to take on one of the open officer/committee chair positions now available, starting with President-Elect Mark Coursey's Rotary year in July.  Ken, Mark and Lisa Dresser (our Club's current and next 2 Presidents) are meeting to identify the full slate of needs and will share this list at upcoming meeting, to again solicit members.
 
Community Service's next Habitat Build Day will be on Saturday, April 3rd from 8:30-12:30 at Philbrook Commons. If able to support, please contact Tim Dresser.
 
The Rotary Minute was presented by Gary Walker, who spoke about some not-well known aspects of the life of Paul Harris.
 
Deborah Fink presented the Sponsorship Minute, where she highlighted the services of Fuller Chevrolet/GMC, one of the Club's Gold Sponsors.
