Poem for the Day:  Tim Dresser – The Thought for the Day has a New Theme, Next Week – Bob

Speaker of the Day: Scholarship Recipients - Kelsie Merrill/Grace Iltis (we actually have 3 Sawyer King at Maritime Academy – Marine Engineering Technology)

Kelsie Merrill – Curry College, Milton Mass, Senior in Nursing. Thank you for the Scholarship! A lot of unknowns this year. Taking all classes virtually since April, was difficult. Working off the kitchen counter! She was also working as a CNA at Quarry Hill, very busy. Kelsie had to make a decision to move to Mass or stay in Camden. Decided to get a job at South Shore Hospital in Foxborro. Clinicals were allowed but course work was online. 4.0 GPA achieved this semester!

Grace Iltis – Freshmen University of Rochester NY Biology and PreMed. Grace is switching to BioMedical Engineering in order to learn about Biomechanics. Entering College during a pandemic is a challenge! Online classes and cross country/track which gave her some structure. She was also are part of a couple of Christian groups on campus. Still in PreMed but may move into a Biochemistry Major. A highlight of the semester, a presentation in front of the department which may allow for internships! Excited about next semester!
