Speaker of the Day: Svatoslav Babyuk/Exchange Student Path
Speaking from Innsbruck. Svatoslav came from Ukraine when he was around 16 and is still a Rotarian. 2005 and 2006 exchange year, his father was president of a local rotary group at the time and Svatoslav began learning a lot of different languages. He had 2 host families, one in England and one in the US (with Etienne and Connie Perret). Became a Rotary member Round Table Innsbruck (Rotarians under 40 years of age). During his stay with his host family, he was able to travel around the US. The experience opened his eyes and mind (politics, role of women, race). Moved to Austria in 2008 to attend school, graduated in Civil Engineering and is working on his second Master’s degree in Industrial and Economical Engineering. He is also co-owner of Power Lifting Club.
